The custom clothiers outfit urban gents at John Allan's
Towering high above the Loop in its 24th-story penthouse, John Allan’s is quickly becoming the ideal host for menswear pop-up shops. Following a summer stint hosting Shrine Haberdashers, the men’s salon and club will soon welcome Nicholas Joseph custom clothiers into its contemporary confines (October 3 through January). From its River North showroom, Nicholas Joseph will bring a selection of ready-to-go items to the pop-up: Italian silk ties, mother-of-pearl collar stays, cashmere accessories and cufflinks, to name a few. There will also be a display of suits and custom options such as fabrics and collar styles, as well as on-site measuring scheduled to coincide with salon appointments. 111 W.
